La Petite Abeille

La Petite Abeille specializes in producing high quality delicious sparkling ciders with a wink and a nod to French cider making savoir-fair.

Tucked into the rolling hillside along the Okanagan valley’s picturesque Naramata Bench Road, La Petite Abeille Cider cultivates and hand-picks the tree fruits at our very own Blue Bee Orchard, then transforms them on-site into delicious, sparkling cider. Looking to France and our long history of cider production for inspiration, we ultimately chose to create a product that showcases the best of old and new world cider-making techniques while exclusively using local ingredients.

Gluten-free, vegan, and never too sweet, La Petite Abeille ciders let the natural fruit flavours and aromatics shine through, while maintaining the perfect amount of bubble to enhance each sip. Currently available are four small-batch sparkling-style varieties bottled in a 750mL size at 8% alc/vol (Sparkling Pear, Sparkling Apple & Pear and Sparkling Rosé), and a limited release Pear Charmat, their signature cider, which is the perfect addition to any special event or celebration.

Summerland Heritage Cider Co

Here in Summerland, we’re passionate about cider. Our focus is on quality and we believe we have achieved something pretty close to perfection. What sets us apart is that our all-juice cider is made using European cider apple varieties that we grow ourselves in our orchards. Though not very good for eating, these apples contain a surprising amount of tannins. This is what gives our cider not only its beautiful golden colour, but when fermented, results in a richly flavoured, surprisingly complex drink.
